Sailing Yoga Retreat
Navigating Through the Chakras
Sat 4 Oct – Sat 11 Oct 2025 | Saronic Islands, GREECE
SAILING YOGA RETREAT
Navigating Through the Chakras
Join me and Aga & Greg on this unforgettable adventure along the calm seas of the Saronic Islands.
Imagine a morning yoga practice on board a luxurious catamaran surrounded by the crystal clear blue sea, listening to the sounds of the waves! An evening meditation on a quiet peaceful beach at sunset … far from tourist hustle and bustle. Organic healthy food on board prepared by Aga herself.
Swimming in beautiful wild bays, exploring different islands each day, enjoying the amazing Mediterranean cuisine in local tavernas in the evenings, snorkelling & hiking, learning the Zorba dance, trips to antient landmarks and architectural wonders, wine tasting at the local vineyards and more….
In October the weather is the best – warm yet no scorching hot, calm seas both for sailing & comfortable sleeping.
If you’d like to get a better idea of what it feels like to embark on such a journey the two videos below will give you an idea.

Sailing Yoga Retreat 2024 – Last year’s retreat
The Catamaran
Aga & Greg have purchased the Zorba the Cat just recently. The catamaran has been designed and built by the famous French Shipyard, Fountaine Pajot. They are one of the world’s number one builders of cruising catamarans. This yacht was very quickly appreciated by the customers due to its sailing performances along with a high level of comfort. The shape of the hulls makes her not only beautiful, but also incredible from nautical point of view.
Our Sailing Vehicle Zorba the Cat
Whenever possible we are using sails so if you wish to learn how to steer, pull a rope or take part in sailing manoeuvres – there will be plenty on board. Those that wish to relax and sunbathe can do so too!
The Catamaran can accommodate up to 8 guests in 3 double + 1 twin cabin (descriptions below), each with its own ensuite electric toilet with hot shower. She has air-conditioning, generator, water maker, solar panels and other amenities which makes her independent, self-sufficient sailing vessel. She is one of the biggest catamarans available in Greece. Her size guarantees stability and comfort with at least four separate areas in common spaces that provide a lot of privacy + spacious cockpit and a saloon with three different tables.
Zorba Cat
Zorba Cat is not only the name of the boat, it’s the philosophy behind it: You only have one life so enjoy every minute of it and create wonderful memories – that’s how one can sum up the adventures of Zorba the Greek written by Nikos Kazantzakis. Owners and crew, Aga and Greg share his love for Greece – the slow life, marvellous sunny landscape and kind people with unbreakable optimism. They appreciate the beauty of nature, the joy of life, good music and great food. So when you are on board of Zorba Cat, naturally you begin to share this philosophy and feel its good influence.
“I felt once more how simple and frugal a thing is happiness: a glass of wine, a roast chestnut, a wretched little brazier, the sound of the sea. Nothing else.”
― Nikos Kazantzakis, Zorba the Greek

THE TEAM
Aga & Greg

Polish couple Aga and Greg have been organising sailing holidays in Greece, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean for more than 15 years. With a long list of happy customers from all over the world, they spend half of the year in Greece and the other half in the Caribbean.
Greg has been sailing all his life. When he was younger he was racing in regattas as part of the professional Polish sailing team, where he gained the experience to cope with all possible weather conditions. He has sailed thousands of miles on different seas and oceans.
Fifteen years ago he gave up his role as Director in a big international company and started to live on his boat permanently. He realised that life is too short to spend it in the office and the world is too beautiful to leave it unexplored.
Aga (a film producer) joined Greg six years ago when she came for a sailing holiday on Zorba and never left! Since that moment it has been her job to take care of all guests and make them feel at home – something she’s certainly a natural at. She will show you all the hidden gems, take you to the best local tavernas and solve any issues that may arise. She knows what each island has to offer and can recommend the best view points and local spots. Her enthusiasm to give guests the best sailing experience on Zorba is unquestionable and her love of Greece is truly infectious!
Aga & Greg took part in a polish breakfast show last year.
Evelina

Evelina is a yoga teacher with nearly 10 years of experience. Originally Bulgarian she has lived in the UK for the last 23 years. Evelina’s journey has been marked by many endings and beginnings – life always had a way of making her constantly move & flow in order to find her purpose.
She left Bulgaria in 2001 leaving behind her then 2 year old daughter which broke her heart. But she was looking for a better life in the UK together with her ex husband. After more than a decade of building her life in a foreign country, raising a kid, going through a divorce & working in a highly masculine world, Evelina was burnt out and heavily disillusioned by life in the big city.
She found yoga in 2014 and this was her light in the dark that gave her hope and the courage to eventually quit the corporate world in 2019. She left behind her career as a Structural Engineer and spent a year in Thailand, devoted to yoga & other self healing practices.
After her return to the UK in 2020 and the incredibly difficult pandemic period, Evelina established her small Yoga & Thai massage business and since then has been spreading her love for yoga and slef-discovery. Over the last few years she has worked with numerous students both privately and in groups and has delivered a number of workshops & retreats.
Evelina’s interests are heavily rooted in the antient wisdom of the yogic scriptures & the Chakra system. She has keen interest in body work, trauma release, energy healing, Daoism, Tantra and a lot more…
Itinerary by Aga & Greg
On the first day we’ll meet in Perdika on Aegina Island. During the length of the trip we will cover the following islands and activities:
Epidavros – the best preserved ancient theatre in the world. It has incredible acoustics – when you drop a coin on stage you can hear the sound in the last row. In Epidavros we will have dinner in our favourite family-run Taverna where the tables are situated under the Orange trees – absolutely stunning. You can just pick an orange directly above your head. Plus the owner is a woman, which is not very popular in Greece, which makes the place magic!
Sunken City – We will enjoy snorkelling from the boat over the ancient town below the water at depth 1.5-2m;
Aegina Island – Also known as the “pistachio island” is beautiful and unique place. We’ll take a walk up the hill to see the stunning Temple of Aphaia – one of the ancient architectural wonders of the area. Here we also have a possible trip to the family-run pistachio plantation, where you can see how the pistachio grow and find out why there is only one male tree per 100 females.
In the evening we’ll have dinner with live bouzuki music – a typical Greek instrument, and we will learn how to do the Zorba dance!
Hydra – We’ll visit Hydra, also known as the jewel of the Saronic. This is an island with no car traffic. All the transportation is carried out by donkeys. The sunset in Hydra is said to be even more beautiful than in Santorini. No wonder why this island is a place for summer houses for many film stars and singers. We’ll take a hike to the top of the hill to enjoy the views and can visit the monks in the monastery. The architecture is absolutely amazing and one of a kind. The maze of streets was built that way to protect the island from Pirate attacks. Getting lost there can be an exciting experience.
Methana – a slow town away from crowds with natural volcanic hot springs. Back pain, stress or tense muscles? We got you covered with 15 minutes in those amazing waters! From there we can make a trip to an amazing local winery and try some famous Peloponnese wine.
Perdika – We’ll sail to this small fishing village where you can meet the nicest people in the world! We’ll visit the family that runs Aga’s & Greg’s favourite Taverna. Kalotina and Notis will make sure that you get the best service and be treated with care. ‘Mamma’ cooks the absolute best moussaka in the whole of Greece! The tzatziki with homemade yogurt is a life changer too.
Secret Harbour – This is a place with one family-run taverna and no shops. The harbour can that can fit only 7 boats. A very small local place known only by those who have sailed in the area for many years. Here we can take a trip to a nice winery and try some famous Peloponnese wine!
Poros – An island with magnificent views and the best grilled dorada! After supper at Mike’s we’ll go for a nice walk up the hill to a small typical chapel from where you can enjoy one of the best views in the Saronic! A short meditation at the top will be a perfect ending of a day full adventures. On the way back down we’ll stop at an ice cream place. We recommend you try the one from locally grown pistachio nuts – it will make you come back for more!

Yoga with Evelina
Over the course of the 7 days I will guide you through two daily yoga sessions. They will be suited both for beginners and more advanced practitioners. Each day will be dedicated to one or two of the major chakras. You’ll start your day with an invigorating 90min morning practice that will open your entire body and get you ready for a day of adventures. The sessions will finish with various Pranayama (breathwork) and Meditation practices to help cultivate inner peace.
In the afternoons we’ll enjoy a mellower, more soothing and nurturing yoga practice which will be held either on board or at the beach. The afternoons will offer more relaxation & mindfulness practices to nourish our hearts & souls.
Each day I will offer different styles to suit the Chakra of the day and to resonate with the collective energy. You will enjoy classical Hatha Yoga and learn some interesting information about the Chakra theory. You will get to try some fun partner poses too. I will take you on a journey from the most dynamic (Ashtanga & Vinyasa) to the most restorative styles (Yin, Restoratice Yoga & Yoga Nidra) over the course of the 7 days and try and impart the wisdom of the antient yogic scriptures through some contemplative and meditative work.
As usual I’ll be bringing along my ukulele and shruti box so also expect music, chanting & dancing.
This time I have planned for us to prepare and co-create a New Moon ritual, to celebrate the Divine feminine. We’ll cleanse ourselves through a moon bathing ritual & set intentions for the new cycle ahead of us.
Daily Schedule
Note that the below is an example daily schedule in order to give you an idea of what we are planning to provide on a daily basis. There will always be a certain level of flexibility – we are all yogis after all, and we’ll strive to move with the flow of the day.

Sarah Lauri, 14 Jul 2024
‘We had a wonderful weekend at the Coach House practicing Yoga & Art with Albena & Evelina. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, move & create and spendtime with a group of like-minded yogis. The setting was perfect – a woanderful space in the countryside, with separate rooms for yoga, art and socialising, everybody was able to socialise or take some time away in another area and relax.
The sessions were very thoughtfully put together and varied throughout the weekend, we danced, chanted, meditated, laughed, reflected, walked, created, sang. We had brunch in the garden and an Art & Yoga session in the sunshine.
Thank you ladies for a wonderful weekend, I can’t wait to do it all again soon!’

‘A wonderful weekend escape where I connected with like-minded people and nurtured my body, mind and soul with mindfulness and creative practices of yoga and art. The Yoga and Art retreat with Evelina and Albena was nestled in the picturesque Coach House, a natural venue, making it a standout choice for those seeking a holistic experience.
For me, Evelina and Albena are a brilliant dynamic duo, and their friendship creates an atmosphere of warmth, love, and positive energy.
Their well-prepared sessions seamlessly integrate yoga and art, exploring creativity and opening the mind to new practices.
It was filled with insightful moments, laughter, meaningful rituals, dance, and music, all contributing to a holistic experience. Evelina and Albena’s delicious meals are served lovingly, nurturing open conversations and spontaneous moments of joy. Looking forward to the next one! Thank you, Gracias, Namaste.‘
